Washington - Staff Midwife (part-time)

Wenatchee Midwife Service & Childbirth Center in Wenatchee, WA is hiring a part-time midwife to join our well-established and growing practice starting spring 2025 (May/June start date). This position would share a flexible call schedule with one other Licensed Midwife and provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care to a diverse clientele serving approximately 80 deliveries annually.

The ideal candidate would be a Licensed Midwife or Certified Nurse Midwife who demonstrates the ability to balance the art of midwifery with evidence-based practice. Additional desirable but non-mandatory qualifications include: candidates currently licensed and credentialed in Washington state, as well as 1+ years experience in the community birth setting as a licensed provider.

Compensation includes: Salary from $60k, paid vacation, cell phone, CEUs, professional organization dues, license renewal, and malpractice insurance.

Established in 1985, our practice offers both birth center births and home births to our midwife-friendly and supportive community. We have developed long-standing, mutually respectful relationships with our local hospital and medical providers. The Wenatchee area is known for its breathtaking landscape with access to four seasons of recreational opportunities (hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, rock climbing,wine tasting, etc).
