Holy Family Birth Center (Weslaco, TX)

Come join the legacy of midwifery and maternal health care that was started here over 38 years ago to provide services to the at-need population of the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas and beyond. Holy Family is a non-profit 501c3 clinic and free standing birth center and is a unique opportunity to experience and offers community living with the volunteer nurses and staff.   There are community living areas, and beautiful grounds to enjoy. 

Rolling applications accepted for volunteer RNs and recent graduates.  Nine month to one-year service commitments are preferred and RN volunteers are provided with a stipend.  The ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required as long as you have a willingness to learn. Benefits include free on-site housing, food, access to shared vehicle and community living areas, gardens, and grounds to enjoy.  Health insurance benefits are available based on commitment.
